How to make it so you can answer questions anywhere in gimkit? ›

You can also click the game code to copy a link directly to your game. Share that link with your students and they'll be able to join your game without entering the game code. If you're using Classes, your students can visit gimkit.com/join to join your game instantly.

Along with the QR Code, there's a button to copy the Join Link for your game. You can click the code or this button to copy a direct link to your game. Students can paste this URL into their browser to skip the code and QR code and get dropped directly into your game!

Just a quick tip for you: Gimkit will randomize the answers when you play the game, so no need to do that yourself.

If you answer questions too quickly, it'll be recognised as cheating and it'll prevent you from gaining XP for the rest of the game. If that happens, you can end or leave the game your in and make or join a new one.

This mode is based around Thanos from the Marvel Franchise. You need to acquire 6 infinity stones to end the game. Infinity Stones must be purchased in the shop. When someone has acquired all 6 infinity stones, the snap starts.

Gimkit can be used in any classroom to introduce or review concepts; it's like a mashup of Kahoot! and Quizlet, but with some unique features neither have. The live gameplay is fast-paced and engaging, but when it's assigned for independent practice, Gimkit functions more like flash cards.

You can end a live game in most game modes by clicking the end game button in the upper right-hand corner of your host screen. In 2D games, you'll find the red End Game button with the other Game Controls.

Questions in Gimkit are shown to each player at their own pace. After a player has seen each questions once, they start to repeat. Smart Repetition repeats questions students missed the first time around more often in live games (all modes) and assignments.
